Q&A:
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Simply click the “Select a time” button to add this class to your cart. There are multiple payment plans available when you proceed to checkout. If you have any questions just reach out.
Q: Who is welcome?
A: Just about anyone! All ages 10+ and persuasions of curious, open-hearted individuals are invited to share together in the passion of learning about Japanese language and culture. Invite your friends to join us! Minors age 13 and below require a parent or guardian be present at all times (no charge).
Q: What sort of atmosphere is to be expected?
A: All we ask is that each participant be polite, respectful, and professional, for the sake of the class as a whole. There will be group exercises. If that isn't possible, we otherwise enact a zero tolerance policy and you will be politely asked to leave and not return.
Q: How does attendance work? Can I skip days? What's the minimum I can get by with?
A: When you sign up you are making a commitment to attend every class for all 8 weeks. While this class will not rely upon the use of a grading system, we highly recommend 100% attendance, with zero or as few absences possible, across the whole 8 week period. Learning a language in itself can be a daunting task. When you miss a class, or a week of classes, it can be even harder to learn, while playing catchup. Additionally, due to the costs of operation incurred by Iisaka Station, poor attendance does not reduce the cost of this class. You can however drop the course at any time and receive a partial refund for the weeks remaining.
